The Ruins of Qi Great Wall

Located in the northeast of Feicheng City and at the top of mountains in Laocheng and Chaoquan town, East-West trending according to the mountains, winding and rolling spectacularly, the Ruins of Qi Great Wall symbolizes Chinese long historical civilization. In Guangxu 17 years, Feicheng County Annals records that Qi fortify as the Great Wall in Zhou Xian Wang 18 years The south of the wall is Lu, the north of the city is Qi. Built early in the spring and autumn period, the Qi Great Wall is Qis military installation for world hegemony during the spring and autumn and Warring States Period, it has been more than 2500 years, about 500 years earlier than the Qin Great Wall, so its the oldest Great Wall. After thousands of wars, wind and rain vicissitudes, the Qi Great Wall still keeps its majestic appearance and has great military value and precious historical and cultural value and tourism value. West from Changqing Guang Li Dian Village, Along the Tai Yi Mountains, through Feicheng, Taian, Licheng etc. 5 counties, East to Huangdao district in Yu Jia River into the sea, over more than thousand meters, connecting Yellow River, Mountain Tai and East China Sea into one, constituting Taishan cultural circle, the Qi Great Wall is one of the important sources of Chinese culture. From Changqing to Xiang Yu Mountain in Feicheng, from west to east through Laocheng Town Tian Jia Hua Yu East Ling (from the Sunlou Village 3 kilometers) into Chaoquan Town Xie Yu North Ling, this part is only about 1.5 kilometers, the ruins is not clear, but faintly discernible intermittently. The part from Xie Yu to Lu Lu Dao Kou is about 1.5 kilometers, the ruins become apparent, and the wall is 1.5m height, 1.3m width. The part from Lu Lu Dao Kou to Huai Shu Kou is about 2 kilometers, and the wall 2m in height, from Huai Shu Kou to Jia Zi Mountain is about 2.5 kilometers, the ruins is obvious. There is a big wall 5m in height and 15m in bottom width in Chuang Hu Ling, from where the Qi Great Wall enters Daiyue District of Tai'an City. 28-29 October 1996, Shandong Huaxia Culture Promotion and Taishan Culture Study Promotion convened a 9 person delegation of the Qi Great Wall to investigate a part of ruins in Chaoquan Town. The total length of the ruins is 8000m, passing through 22 hilltops. The most complete wall is in Liu Gou, about 100m Northeast of Xiao Chuang Hu Ling, the wall 4.5-5m in height and 8m in bottom width. They concluded that the part of Qi Great Wall through Feicheng twists and turns and remains clear, especially the Northeast Mountain part in Chaoquan town, with majestic mountains steep and lush vegetation, it will be an important historical and cultural and natural exploitable resources in Feicheng. The part of Qi Great Wall in Feicheng is 38 kilometers total length; all of them are formed by the local granite boulders or caviar stone and created through a sinister terrain. The place where mountain pass is based on arch land, protected by stone on both sides of the slope, building the stone roof and along with weeds, robinia pseudoacacia, thorns, craggy rocks. Standing in the mountains above the Great Wall, listening to the wind howling mountain, looking at the trees billow and water splash, you will ponder over history and fall into a reverie.
